Are we seeking God for US or For HIM?

One of the misconceptions of the scripture is that the Lord Knows where I am. If He wants to Bless me He knows where to Find me.

Throughout the Word, we find words like these;

Find Me; Proverbs 8:17 “I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me.”

Look for Me; Job 11:7 “Can you find out the deep things of God? Can you find out the limit of the Almighty?”

Search Me; Deuteronomy 4:29 “But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.”

Seek Me; Acts 17:27 “so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us”

It is about YOU going to HIM.  It is about you going into His courts with praise and worship. To His Name we ATTRIBUTE glory, honor, majesty, praise, and worship!  As you enter into His holiness prepare yourself to be engulfed in the splendor of His love.

The offering He wants is YOU!

No one can ever search out the deep things of God because the limited mind (ours) can never understand the depths of the limitless mind (God’s) but we can find God in His Word, the Bible.  God is the Word and the Word is God (John 1) and they cannot be separated.  When you find the Word of God you can find God because He is written in the pages of the Bible for us to know.  When we seek to find God, we must open His Word for there He is!

No one can find God without a humble, contrite, and broken heart.  God has regard for those who are dead to themselves and alive in Him, then He fills them with His Spirit.  God cannot fix what is not broken.  It is my prayer that everyone who reads this will be broken over their sin and confess them to God and repent and forsake them. Turning away from sin and turning to Christ as your Savior.  (Rev 20:12-15)  Then I will seek you in the kingdom and find you and just like the prodigal son’s father said, God will say, “For this my son (or daughter) was dead and is alive again; he (or she) was lost, and is found.’ And they began to celebrate” (Luke 15:24) and what a day of celebration that will be for we will finally be found in Him!
