Prayer of Repentance

If you would please join me and take your positions in a place of humility and a contrite heart, laying face down, or in a kneeling position before the Lord. If you are not physically able to do this God will honor you right where you are with whatever you are able to do even if you are laying in a bed right now.

Prayer of Repentance

Father in the name of Jesus we come before your throne as your Army, with humble and contrite hearts on this day of repentance. Father as we step onto the battlefield of righteousness, we walk in a spirit of unity, with one heart, one mind, and one accord, to disarm and take away any legal right the enemy may have over your people, and your country called the United States of America. Father we decree and declare we will take back what belongs to you,’through this act of target focused repentance that we are engaged in.

The Necessity of Evangelism

Doing real evangelism in a contemporary world demands a correct biblical understanding of the process of evangelism and awareness to the Christian’s responsibility to evangelize.  Relying on pastors, church staff, or a select few to do the work of evangelism will no longer suffice when proper understanding is realized. McRaney states, “When we trust Christ, we become servants and ambassadors of the King, which implies that all of us are to share His message … Evangelism is a command, not just a gift for a select few.  Biblically the evangelist was given to the church as a position, role, office, or function, but evangelism is not just for a select few.”

Rejection is Powerful

Rejection is one of the most powerful weapons against us however, 99.9% of the time it is self-inflicted!

We have all been rejected few times in our lives, especially by the people we love and trust most. Our parents reject us in our mind when they utter their first “NO” as in our mind they get more liberal to say no the more they use it but this causes us to have the rejection spirit that leads to anger, unforgiveness, resentment, hatred,  etc.

Look Beyond the Dark

Life seems to be plunged into deep, dark despair. Constant anger, criticism, hateful speech – it is enough to press one into isolation. But when one views life through the lens of the life giver. The way is made clear, the truth shines as bright as the noon day sun and life becomes vibrant.

The source of life is Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of God. He gave Himself to bring light to the darkness, hope to the hopeless, peace to the anxious and holiness to
the broken.

Confusion Breeds Discontent

Confusion is a state of mind brought on by uncertainty, relativism, egocentrism, and fear. When one has no foundation which is immutable, no truth which is transcendent, and no standard that does not vacillate the only logical conclusion – confusion.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Gives you all you need to be clear eyed. “Trust in the LORD, with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.”

What this Day Means to Americans

Freedom is a beautiful thing. It is defined as a state of being free, the absence of necessity, constraint in choices or actions. It is freedom from the power of another person, organization, state or nation. It is to have all our options open to us in thought, belief and speech, allowing boldness of action and execution in life.

The Pursuit of Wisdom Results In Knowing God

Proverbs 2: 1-15 says:
My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you,  turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding— indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.  For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.

Trust and Obey

As a small child, sitting with my grandmother in church, I remember so vividly her crying every time they sang the old song “Trust and Obey”. I would look up at her and put my small hand into her hand as a way to comfort her I thought. But, after service, she would explain to me that the only way to really serve the Lord was to put our total trust in Him and whatever He told us to do, we should do it. Obey His Word and trust in His unfailing care and love for us.

You are Called to Soar

We are empowered by the breath of God to rise on winds of faith soaring about life’s storms. We are eagles who use adversity to triumph as God’s Spirit updrafts us to the calming presence of His Son.

Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint”.

Lead & Encourage

All of us have latent leadership abilities. We need leaders around us who are able to mentor us and bring out what is inside so that we are not following when we should be leading. If you’re in a line waiting for a particular ride, you’re standing in the line – you’re called to follow that.  Most of life, however, is not standing in line – it’s taking charge. We lead as Jesus did: as servants, not as pompous, self-centered leaders.

I’m believing for hundreds of leaders to come forth in our church who will mentor thousands of people until we have a church full of leaders who can go into our world, to encounter the leadership of evil that is penetrating our youth.
