Sometimes people have something bad happen in life and claim they’ve lost their faith because of it. Good! They need to get rid of that faith, because a faith that cannot be tested is a faith that cannot be trusted. When you face fiery trials, when things are not going your way, it is easy to lose faith and crumble. Real faith in a real God will not grow weaker through difficulty. It will only get stronger. That is the kind of faith we all need as Christians, because fiery trials will come our way. Trials produce something that easy times will not, and that is spiritual toughness.

There are times in the Christian walk when the Lord seems far away. The dew of His conscious presence no longer saturates the contemplations of our heart. The clouds of doubt, fear, unbelief, and worry hide the Son from us, and we feel all alone. God, however, clearly tells us in His Word that He is ever present. Jesus said: “Lo, I am with you always!’ It is His desire, His good pleasure to be with us. When we have a sense of God’s nearness; His presence, we are unconquerable.
Worry is the trigger for fear, and fear is the nemesis of faith. Faith or fear will always travel with us, but never together. Faith causes fear to flee; fear paralyzes faith. When we ask God to take away our habits, It is not for God to take them away, but for you to give them up!
When we ask God to take away our handicap and make us whole, our Spirit is whole and the body is only temporary! Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul. 3 john 1:2
When we ask God to grant us patience, Patience is the byproduct of Tribulations; it is not granted, it is learned! When we ask God to give us happiness; God gave us blessings; happiness is up to us!

When God told Abraham to lay his son, Isaac, on the altar and sacrifice him what was going through his head? I mean, to have such a request asked of him by God must have been shocking and horrifying at the same time yet, Abraham was willing. Even to the point of tying him down, laying him on the altar and raising the knife, yet, God in His infinite mercy and abundant love provided a ram, a way of escape for Abraham because of his obedience.
Sometimes in our lives God asks us to do things in obedience. Maybe not to the extreme of the previous example but nevertheless something to test our obedience and willingness to follow through with His will. What we do or don’t do is part of our worship to God and many times what He asks of us takes a sacrifice.

If you would please join me and take your positions in a place of humility and a contrite heart, laying face down, or in a kneeling position before the Lord. If you are not physically able to do this God will honor you right where you are with whatever you are able to do even if you are laying in a bed right now.
Prayer of Repentance
Father in the name of Jesus we come before your throne as your Army, with humble and contrite hearts on this day of repentance. Father as we step onto the battlefield of righteousness, we walk in a spirit of unity, with one heart, one mind, and one accord, to disarm and take away any legal right the enemy may have over your people, and your country called the United States of America. Father we decree and declare we will take back what belongs to you,’through this act of target focused repentance that we are engaged in.
